Prioritisation Panel

What is the Prioritisation Panel?

The Healthwatch Nottinghamshire Prioritisation Panel is a group of volunteers who help us to prioritise what work we carry out as your local Healthwatch. Our Prioritisation Panel members come from a variety of different backgrounds and areas of Nottinghamshire, and were selected by an interview process.

What do the Prioritisation Panel do?

The Panel meet monthly to consider all of the information that Healthwatch Nottinghamshire has gained over the last month. This could be patient experience gained directly through Healthwatch work, or information that we’ve collected through other sources. Our Panel look at the whole picture and decide what we should be focusing our work programme on. They use a special Healthwatch scoring system to do this.

Can I come to the Prioritisation Panel meetings?

Yes! Prioritisation Panel meetings are open for the public of Nottinghamshire to attend. However, the public are invited as observers only. We cannot allow interruptions and questions from observers during the meeting itself, however our staff members will always be happy to talk to you and take any questions immediately after the meeting.

How do I find out what has been discussed at previous meetings?

The notes from all of our Prioritisation Panel meetings are published below.
